Helping the Whatcom, Skagit, and Island county seniors and their families find the right answers and move forward during times of stress is my life’s work. I have worked with seniors as a manager or administrator of Assisted Living and Retirement Communities in Bellingham; and at Dementia Care Facilities, Home Care Agencies, and an Adult Day Health Program in Seattle. I even started out many years ago as a direct caregiver at an Adult Family Home. This past year I left my position as the administrator of a local Assisted Living Community to start Elder Services NW, a free senior living referral and placement service.
At Elder Services NW, I help families sort through the various options and support them every step of the way to make the right decision at the right time. I enjoy getting to know the seniors and families that I serve. That way I ensure their unique needs and preferences are being addressed.
